October 2024 Update! - Painted Production Samples

Last month we received the first look at the painted production samples. These are for us to approve the paint decos before all final figures are painted.
The ones that we are showing today are 95% complete, with minor adjustments that need to be made. There are few other figures that need more adjustments, so we will hold off on showing those until we are satisfied with the samples.
Please note that we are asking if a transparent or white o-ring can be used for Ikiryo

We’ve been patiently waiting for a tooling update from the factory. To our pleasant surprise, this picture was sent today! All parts have been run and painting starts tomorrow.
We will continue to post updates as we receive them.
Factory Update - July 2024

As we all know unforseen snags can happen during production, as evidenced by most of our peers and forebears.
Our factory produced final 'pulls' today (see images at the bottom of this post), as a last occurrence going into the full production run, which illustrated that the mold containing all of our lower arms and hands has been damaged.
So we've received our first set back.
At best, we are looking at a few weeks. At worst, 45 days to replace the now missing tooling. But when that is fixed, we go back into regular production - as planned.
We're very sorry this has happened. We are just as excited to get these into everyone's hands as much as our own. Hopefully this is just a minor set back and we can get back to production as soon as possible.

Update from the factory. Injection PVC molds are finished, now waiting for the ABS molds. Those should be done soon!

Now that Chinese New Year has wrapped, we are closely working with the factory to get all the details ironed out for production.
